Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Trip Whiteboard mobile application provided by Patzsch (the “Application”). It explains how information is handled when you use the Application.
Information we collect
The Application does not require an account, sign-in, or registration. Patzsch does not collect personal information, trip details, schedules, stops, or other content you create in the Application through normal use.
This policy does not claim that ordinary internet infrastructure never processes technical network information when you access an external service such as an app store. Such processing is controlled by the relevant external provider and is outside Patzsch’s app data storage.
Where your trip information lives
Trip Whiteboard is designed to keep the trips, stops, schedules, and other planning information you create locally on your device. This locally stored information is not uploaded to or retained on Patzsch servers through normal app use.
You are responsible for access to and security of your device, including any device-level backups or synchronization services you independently enable.
Precise location data
Trip Whiteboard does not collect or store precise real-time location information on Patzsch servers.
Sharing of information
Because Patzsch does not collect personal data from normal use of the Application, Patzsch does not sell or share such app data with third parties.
If you access the Application through Google Play, Google may process information under its own terms and privacy practices. That processing is separate from Patzsch’s handling of Trip Whiteboard data.
Data Retention
Patzsch has no server-side retention period for personal data, trip plans, stops, schedules, or other content created through normal use of Trip Whiteboard because Patzsch does not collect or store that information.
Data saved locally in the Application remains on your device until you delete it, clear the Application’s storage, or uninstall the Application, subject to any device backup or restore features that you control independently.
Data Deletion
Because Patzsch does not maintain a server-side account or database containing your Trip Whiteboard content, there is no Patzsch-hosted app data to request deletion of.
To remove locally stored Trip Whiteboard data, use any deletion controls available in the Application, clear the Application’s storage through your device settings, or uninstall the Application. Device or cloud backups managed by you or your platform provider may need to be deleted separately through the relevant provider’s settings.
Security
Limiting data collection reduces exposure of personal information. Patzsch does not maintain a server-side repository of your Trip Whiteboard content. You should still protect your device with appropriate security controls because locally stored information is accessible through that device.
Children’s privacy
Patzsch does not knowingly collect personal data from children through normal use of Trip Whiteboard. Because the Application does not require an account and Patzsch does not collect app content on its servers, no child profile is created by Patzsch through normal app use.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the Application, its data practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published with an updated effective date.
